Karl and Pär Frid composed the original music for the television series A Life’s Worth that premiered at Series Mania in Lille in 2025. A Life’s Worth is directed by Ahmed Abdullahi and produced by Maida Krak, Yellowbird in co-production with Viaplay & ARTE France.
The series stars Johan Rheborg, Edvin Ryding, Maxwell Cunningham, Erik Enge, Toni Prince, Sandra Stojiljkovic and Johannes Bah Khunke.
A Life’s Worth is inspired by the first Swedish UN battalion in Bosnia in 1993. It follows four young soldiers - Forss, Babic, Strand, and Kilpinen - as they embark on their first overseas mission in the tangled and bloody conflict in the Balkans. The mission proves impossible to resolve by peaceful means alone. They are accompanied by their battalion commander, Andreasson, who is torn between the desire to intervene and the duty to follow orders. This is a story of human brutality, difficult moral decisions, and the strong friendship, love, and trust forged under the most extreme circumstances.
