PLEASURE

Director Ninja Thyberg’s full length feature debut about 20-year-old Bella who lands in California to make a name for herself in the adult film industry. She moves into a collective with other young actresses, who become both friends and competitors in the fascinating but ruthless production apparatus. In Pleasure, both the abusive culture of porn and the absurd everydayness of the shootings are portrayed without blinders.

Pleasure was in the official selection for Cannes 2020 and is competing at the Sundance Film Festival 2021, were it will have its world premiere, as well as Gothenburg Film Festival 2021.

Karl composed the score for this feature working closely with opera artist Caroline Gentele as well as singer/rapper artist Mapei.
The score is a hybrid between sacred opera and urban beats, contributing to the special universe of the film.

Pär and Ludvig were closely involved in the process accompanying in concept development, music production, music editing and final mixing of the music.
