SOMMAREN 85

Karl, Pär and Ludvig has composed and produced the original music and created the music supervision (Ida-Lee Brandel) for the SVT tv series Sommaren 85.

Sommaren 85 was directed by Kicki Kjellin and Mikael Syrén and produced by Anette Brantin for Art & Bob.

The feel good television drama comedy is set in the 80’s fictional small town Braxinge, Sweden. Single mother Åsa works hard to send 15 year old daughter Lena on a language trip to Hastings. She is dead set on not having to rely on Lenas grandparents. Meanwhile Barbro, 58, Lenas grandmother has taken up the task of organising the summer’s big event, a local Sausage festival, that is supposed to bring the small town people together. But this summer is full of surprises and things don’t exactly go as planned. Will Lena get her trip to England? What summer adventure lies in store for Åsa? And will Barbro find a much needed new spark to her marriage?

Sommaren 85 Original Soundtrack is released in collaboration with Warner Music Sweden, and contains different artist collaborations.
